Size:

Male: 6 feet
Female: 5-5.5 feet

Body Features:

Males: A thin torso with muscular arms and legs. Males have large heads with big ears, that are turned backwards and flopped at the tips. Has a thick mane that starts at the forehead and grows backwards and grows till reaching the middle back. Dragon-like wings from the back of shoulderblades (only Alphas). Large talons on feet and long finger claws. (length: 3 inches). Has horns above and in front of ears. (Length: 10-11 inches) Colors: Lighter skin colors and dark symbols on body.

Females: A thin torso with thin arms and legs, but they are also very muscular, despite thinness. They have a a smaller head than the males. Also they smaller ears, but still the same type. The mane starts at the forehead and grows a lot thinner than the males, but enough to show thickness. It grows till it reaches to about five inches past shoulders. Dragon wings come from behind shoulderblades (only Alphas). Small talons on feet and long narrow ones on fingers. (Length: 2 inches) Colors: Darker skin and lighter symbols on body.

Denvark Features:

• Only Alpha Denvarks' have the Dragon-like wings.

• Skin is like a dolphins, but has tough like scales on: the throat and all the way down toward the abdomen. They have the scales to the tip of the tail (which are thinner scales) and over the back and up the head; which their hair covers.

• The whole body structure of a Denvark is reptilian, much like a raptor, but without a whole body of scales.

About Denvark Features:

Scales: For protection.
Eyes: Two eye features: regular eyesight (they DO see color!) and heat seeking (like a snake). They can switch these consiously. They are very light sensative and see perfectly in the dark as if it were light outside. (Some have been known to wear sun glasses) Eyes have also a second eye lid to protect the eye from blood (caused by fights) and from dust and debree.
Teeth: Narrow and needle sharp! Teeth are much like a snakes. The first four teeth (on each side) are sharp and straight, the rest till the last two are curved in, meant for hooking into prey. The backs are flat and for chewing. (Yes, they chew! They are some-what civil.) Some species have been known to have venom glands and having extra two teeth in the front, one pair on top beside the front teeth.
Jaws: Jaws can dislocate and open 270 degrees.
Tail: A long prehensial tail with small jagged thin scales. The length is about 4-5 feet depending on size. Tail is sometimes used for a whip in close combats.
Claws: Front claws are curved; used for gripping and tearing. Feet claws are slightly curved; used for scratching.
Ears: Used for hearing over great distances, about 1-2 football fields away. VERY sensative to loud noises.
Hair: Hair doesn't start to grow till at least 3 months of age, and stops growing at 6 months age. It starts once more when the young Denvarks reach Adolesence. That is when it starts to thicken and lengthen. The hair of a Denvark is used much like a male lion's mane. If the mane is long and thick, it defines the Denvark as strong. The worst thing that could happen is that the mane is shaved. Whenever one is banished or a alpha is overthrown, they are shaven of their majestic mane. Some Denvark's have been known to have gone crazy and becoming unscrupubusly. Once the hair is shaved, it never grows back to it's full potential, but grows back short.
Wings: Only alpha Denvark's have the Dragon-like wings. Once the alpha is overthrown from his kingdom, his wings are clipped. By means of the sucessor ripping the wings from the losers back, leaving him/her with deep, conspicous scar wounds where their wings once were, showing their failure. This means, once a alpha or leader is overthrown, it is very rare that they may become leader or alpha again.
Symbols: Each Denvark earns a symbol for each accomplishment in his/her life time. Examples: saving a life, earning Alpha status, moving up to a new age group, winning a group attack, killing an enemy..ect ect. But, there are some symbols which some are born with which define what that Denvark will be destined to do. Only elders have the knowledge to desifer symbols and give them.
Age: Till at least 3 months, the Denvark are infants. At 4-6 months they are Toddlers. At 7-1 year they have become Ferks (a humans preteen years). At 2-6 years they are now Adolences. 7-9 years they are Teenagers. 10-15 years they have become full fledged adults. 16-20 they have become..Pslams(older adults mid 40's in human years). 21+ they are now elders (70-80's in human) and out of cometion. Not a lot of Denvarks have reached the Elder stage. Reason: unknown.
Age Information: Males and females both become sexually active around 9 1/2 years of age. But, females can't come pregnant till 10 years of age.
Life: The Denvark's live in small groups called Fogs. The Fog of Denvark's have up to 10-15 members. There's one Alpha or leader, one Commander. The rest are pack mates, which help out with the life. Denvark's usally live in cities and sometimes have territories within the city they have made their life in. Sometimes, rogues start up trouble, so this is why groups are needed. Very rarely does a Denvark leave it's Fog. The only time a 'Vark is alone is as if it has been banished. The Denvark life is pretty simple, keep their "territory" from being taken by other groups.
Extra: Most Denvarks steal clothes from humans and use them to hide from the humans. Most wear cloaks, cargo pants, shirts, tank tops, shades ect. They rarely wear shoes.

Gender: female
Personility: Defiant, very wiley and adventurous. She's a loosecannon, ready to fire. She's headstrong and won't let anything or anyone get in the way of what she wants. She'll do anything for friends. She is very proud and doesn't like to be seen like a weakling, such as crying. She tries to ignore pain if she is in it. It's very hard to get close to her, but she warms up medium speed.
Likes: Music, singing, peace...and quiet, running, friends
Dislikes: Loud noises, being alone, deep water; anything about head, very closterphobic,

Size: 5.4" at head
Color: She has dark red scales on her beck and down her sides, till it reaches her belly where it's a sandy yellow. The ywllo extends to her bottom jaw.
Eyes: Bright red eyes with yellow. Dark red, where the whites of the eye should be.
Other: She has many black symbols on her body. A bright red symbol on her forehead which resembles two circles, One large one about 4 inch diameter and a solid one in the middle, 2 inch diameter. Then there are three solid lines at the bottom of the cirle. One line at an angle to the right(right side) and another angled toward left (left side) and one down the middle.
Wears: Wears black small shades which have red flames on the side. She wears a dark red cloak thats ripped on the edges. She wears black cargo pants.
